Victoria Teachers Mutual Bank is proud to present our Teaching Initiatives Program for 2017, offering grants to schools and preschools across Victoria for innovative learning ideas and programs. We’re offering your school or preschool a chance to receive a share of our $30,000 funding pool.
The Peoples’ Choice Award will offer one school or preschool the chance to profile their initiative in a big way.
When the final group of TIP recipients is identified, we will ask the people to decide on the worthy winner of the Peoples’ Choice Award - the school or preschool with the most votes will receive a video creation package to showcase their initiative and the opportunity to present their initiative at our Annual General Meeting in November.
Stay tuned for upcoming information about the Peoples’ Choice Award and the opening of the voting poll.
The Teaching Initiatives Program (TIP) was developed to support schools and preschools in bringing innovative teaching ideas to life, and to encourage excellence in education.
Tell us about your initiative – it could be a new program, a new teaching method or an innovative idea to be implemented. Initiatives need to fall under one of the following four categories: Indigenous Culture, Sustainability, Engage with Asia and General Curriculum. The TIP committee will then consider each idea based on its merits.
Share your Teaching Initiative with us here and be in the running to receive a grant for your great idea.
